Cinematographer
Colm Whelan is a cinematographer whose work spans feature film, drama, short film and commercial. With a career built on a deep sensitivity to light and composition, his images carry an emotional weight that goes beyond the technical. Winner of the IFTA Award for Best Cinematography in Television (2017), he brings a painterly sensibility to the frame — an eye for light, shadow and the decisive moment that transforms a scene emotionally.
Based in Ireland and Southeast Asia, Colm works across continents — collaborating closely with directors and producers to build a visual language unique to each project.
